Welcome Center Volunteers will be the first faces that Festival guests, Talent and Sponsors meet. It is their responsibility to ensure these individuals are greeted with warmth and enthusiasm that will resonate throughout the weekend.
Box Office volunteers will check in guests who have pre-purchased Festival passes and ensure they receive the correct badges that correspond with the type of passes they have purchased. Box Office volunteers will also pass out gift bags to Connoisseur-level guests.

Role-Specific Requirements: Welcome Center greeters must:
• Be friendly, outgoing, courteous and have a positive attitude
• Have strong communication skills and the ability to answer or direct questions to the appropriate Festival staff person or volunteer (a list of commonly asked questions and answers and other reference materials will be provided)
• Have a solid understanding of Festival layout in order to provide accurate directions to classrooms, Tasting Tents, parking areas, etc. (maps will be provided)
• Be comfortable using an iPad or electronic tablet to check in guests
